1. As you examine the outline of Project XYZ, what sort of outcome would be reasonable, if you were going to train the elementary teachers in your building to implement Project XYZ?

2. Next, choose the appropriate outcome for your training program from the following:

  • Teacher will successfully implement the XYZ curriculum.
  • Teacher will understand the steps in the XYZ components.
  • Teacher will increase their knowledge of curriculum development.
3. In order to check the appropriateness of your response, consider the following statements.

Outcome statement is written in behavioral terms.
Outcome statement clearly identifies what you want the trainee to be able to do when training is completed.
Outcome statement indicates skill implementation.
