PARENTS IN THE CENTER

Parents/Guardians are welcome visitors in the center at any time! We encourage family involvement. Your child needs to know that you are interested in what is happening at the center and the teachers value your input. If you have special talents you would like to share, let us know. You are welcome to come and observe or help at any time.

If you wish to discuss your child or any aspect of the program, we invite and strongly recommend that you periodically make appointments with us. We will be happy to answer questions, discuss problems and share information with you outside of the classroom environment so as not to distract the children's and teacher's routines.

PARENT CONFERENCES

Parents are invited to participate in parent/teacher conferences at the beginning and the end of the year. These conferences will serve as a time for staff and parents to become familiar with each other, share information, ease transitions and discuss concerns. In addition, assessment information will be reviewed at this time. For families participating in the Early Childhood Special Education program, this meeting will be an Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) meeting.

FAMILY EVENTS

The center sponsors at least one family event a term. Check here or in our monthly newsletter for times and dates of these events.
