Mission:
The mission of the Oregon Brain Injury Resource Network is to improve access to information and services for individuals with brain injury, their families, and the professionals who serve them. The Resource Network houses information on all aspects of brain injury, from the point of initial injury throughout the life span of the individual.
The Resource Network includes:
- A comprehensive library of books, journals, articles and videotapes
- A statewide database of available resources and services for individuals with brain injury and their families
- A web site, with links to a wide range of related sites and information
Purpose of the Resource Network:
- To IDENTIFY, COLLECT and ORGANIZE current information about brain injury, including available resources and services.
- To PROVIDE Oregonians with information that meets their specific interests and needs

Services available through the Network:
Telephone Assistance
- A representative of the Brain Injury Association of Oregon is available to discuss your information needs, and direct you to local and statewide resources.
Information Searches
- An Information Specialist is available to conduct information searches tailored to your unique needs and interests.
Video Loan Library
- We require a $25 deposit for each tape borrowed. Deposits will be reimbursed for tapes returned on time. Call for more information or a loan request form.
Brain Injury Newsletter
- Copies of the quarterly newsletter, The Headliner, are available from the Resource Network. The Headliner is a joint effort of the Brain Injury Association of Oregon, the Brain Injury Support Group of Portland, the Oregon TBI Model Systems Project and the Oregon TBI State Demonstration Project.
