Licensure by the Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices (TSPC) is required for those wishing to work in Oregon's schools as:

• special education teachers
• teachers of the visually impaired
• teachers of the hearing impaired
• teachers of students with communication disorders
• adaptive PE teachers
• school psychologists

Those wishing to work in schools as related service providers, such as a physical therapists, occupational therapists, or sign language interpreters do not need to be licensed by TSPC.
