Who are we?
The Oregon Division for Early Childhood endeavors to promote the education and well being of exceptional children. This mission is accomplished through;

  • stimulating communication and cooperation among early childhood organizations and practitioners,
  • disseminating information about research, resources, and current trends and issues, and
  • promoting involvement of parents/caregivers in their children's development.

We believe....
The Division for Early Childhood (DEC) of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) is a nonprofit organization advocating for individuals who work with or on behalf of children with special needs, birth through age eight and their families.
